As part of her fellowship, 2023-2024 Public Humanities Fellow Juliette Gudknecht is organizing Neurodiversity Awareness Day. The full-day event will feature educational seminars designed to educate and foster communication within the Columbia community (and beyond) about autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other related conditions. The event's goal is to raise awareness and acceptance of neurodevelopmental disabilities while also providing resources and support for neurodivergent individuals. More details about the event are available here.

Juliette has also recently published a children's short story about autism and has had a paper co-authored with her doctoral advisor accepted for publication in Autism, a leading journal focused on autism research.
