The Society of Fellows is a community of early career scholars in the humanities and humanistic social sciences who are simultaneously appointed as research fellows and lectures in discipline for three-year terms. Besides working on their scholarship and research, they teach one or two courses a year in the Core Curriculum or in their own area of expertise. They also participate in workshops, lecture series, and, if they wish, collaborate on organizing scholarly and public events on topics of their own choosing.
