Professor Grieve's work focuses on Medieval Spanish, comparative literature, and Golden Age literature. Her publications include: Desire and Death in the Spanish Sentimental Romance, 1440-1550 and "Floire and Blancheflor" and the European Romance; Her articles have appeared in in MLN, Hispanic Review, Bulletin of Hispanic Studies and Romance Quarterly. Professor Grieve's current projects include Framed: Legal Fictions and the Medieval and Renaissance Novella Tradition and Women and National Allegory and the Conversion of History in Medieval and Early Modern Spain.
