Jennifer C. Nash is the Jean Fox O'Barr Professor of Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies at Duke University. Her work centers on black feminist theory, black sexual politics, race and visual culture, and theories of intersectionality. She is the author of The Black Body in Ecstasy: Reading Race, Reading Pornography (Duke University Press, 2014) and Black Feminism Reimagined (Duke University Press, 2019). She has published articles in GLQ, Feminist Studies, Signs, Feminist Theory, Social Text, and differences. She earned her PhD in African American Studies at Harvard University and her JD at Harvard Law School.
