Iliana Ortega is the Administrative Assistant at the Heyman Center for the Humanities and the Society of Fellows in the Humanities. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Latin American Studies from Wesleyan University. In addition to working for the Heyman Center and the Society of Fellows, Iliana volunteers with Columbia's Justice-in-Education program on weekends. She currently lives in Harlem, and is passionate about social justice and the performing arts.
