Current Society of Fellows scholar Daniela M. Traldi organized a panel and a roundtable for the American Historical Association's 139th Annual Meeting, held in Chicago from January 8-11, 2026. The American Historical Association (AHA) annual meeting is the premier gathering for historians to share research and professional development. The panel (Women, Gender, and the Far Right: Ibero-American Perspectives) and roundtable (New Historical Approaches to Studies of Fascism, Antifascism, and Gender in Latin America and the Caribbean) featured some of the leading experts in Latin American history, including Benjamin Cowan, Sandra McGee Deutsch, Cathy Cabrera-Figueroa, Margaret Power, Toni Morant, and Daniela, herself.
