Society of Fellows alum Ruth Opara (2020–2021) will be awarded the Award for Academic Excellence at the third annual Columbia University Division of Humanities Faculty Recognition Reception and Awards. The awards and ceremony will celebrate the research, teaching, community building, and service in the Humanities. The award ceremony will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 5:00 PM in Buell Hall (RSVP).
