Congratulations to frequent SOF/Heyman contributor Karl Jacoby on receiving a Public Scholars grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities! Professor Jacoby was awarded the grant for his book project The War with Mexico and the Birth of the U.S.-Mexico Border, 1846–1924. Public Scholars grants support the research for and publication of popular nonfiction books in the humanities.
