It’s time to rethink climate research and reset the often extractive relationships between researchers and the communities affected the most by climate change. How can academics build equitable partnerships with local communities to set research agendas, generate knowledge, and determine solutions? The new Community-Driven Co-Production of Knowledge Small Grant program is accepting applications for proposals for advocacy efforts, pilot studies, events, reading groups, and more.
Collaborative proposals from Columbia affiliates and community members are due October 15, 2023, at 11:59PM. Funded by the Columbia Climate School and administered by the Center for Science and Society.
