March 9, 2015

Oscar Wilde Tours, founded by Alumnus Fellow Andrew Lear ('04-'06), will begin a new gay history tour in New York City this April 2015.

Lear started Oscar Wilde Tours to give gay people a way to connect with their own rich history. He currently leads small tour gropus of less than 18 people on two European tours: Gay Italy: From Ceasar to Michelangelo and Byond and Oscar Wilde's Dublin, London, and Paris. These are the first tours that focus specifically on gay history.

The New York City tours will include a 4 hour bus tour, a Greenwich Village walking tour, and East Village walking tour, and a tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. New York City Tours begin in April.
