Join leading feminist thinkers for a debriefing on the role of gender and sexuality in the recent political season.

Rebecca Traister, Columnist and author, Big Girls Don't Cry: The Election that Changed Everything for American Women

Patricia J. Williams, Columbia University School of Law and The Nation

Moderator: Alondra Nelson, Institute for Research on Women and Gender, Columbia University

Panelists will examine the issues that punctuated the recent election, including women's health, reproductive rights, marriage equality, poverty, and political participation. They will also consider what issues should be at the top of the feminist and LGBT political agenda and how these communities can best affect change in the new presidential administration.
