This Heyman Center Faculty Workshop on Subaltern Urbanism explores the "the urban" as a historic and contemporary form of life; as a set of protocols for living implicit in the organization of the built environment, the management of human movement and density, and the creation and facilitation of sociality through means of communication and exchange.
