This event will bring together musical performers and academics to talk about the role of gospel music throughout history and today. Furthermore, this event will feature a performance by famed gospel singer Richard Smallwood. Prior to Mr. Smallwood's performance, he will join a panel discussion with Dr. Tammy Kernodle of Miami University, songwriter and producer Daniel Moore, and Dr. Alisha Lola Jones of Indiana University.
